District 1
SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN A.A. Groups along the southwest coast of Lake Michigan make up District 1. The southwest corner begins at Harbor of New Buffalo and extends slightly east to the small town of Union along the Indiana/Michigan state line. Our northwest border begins at the beaches of South Haven and moves inland to Grand Haven.

Area 34
District 1 is one of 18 District's along the west coast of Lake Michigan. These 18 Districts gather monthly for the Area 34 Assembly. Area 34 encompasses the entire west coast of Lake Michigan from New Buffalo at the Indiana state line (D1) to Sault Ste. Marie (D16) at the United States/Canadian Boarder. We include cities slightly inland; Kalamazoo (D4), Grand Rapids (D7), & Gaylord (D12), to the Bay's near Traverse City (D11) and the eastern portion of the Michigans Upper Peninsula (D16) to name a few. Area 34 includes a total of 18 District Committees.
